Austin, Texas Hail Reports

So far, the best information I have been able to find is pointing to the likelihood of a very small band of hail that might have caused some really light damage on the north side of Austin. I've been looking at some viewer supplied pictures of the hailstones from the storm that moved across Austin this morning, and it looks like most of the hail was dime to ping-pong ball size, with just a small area around MoPac and Parmer, and MoPac and Braker, that might have ended having some light damage.

You can see for yourself at these image galleries here, here and here. This is some pretty early information, so you might want to check these galleries again this evening and in the morning because I'm sure they'll get updated with more pictures as the day goes on.

From what I've seen so far, I'd get on the phone and make sure it's worth it before running on this one.

I thankfully was out of town when the hail came through. My neighbor took some great pictures of the hail.

I found your article on Google when looking for images of hail, but it seems the pictures have long since disappeared. :(
