Marquette, MI. I ended up with $2,500 worth of damage. My insurance company said my roof and hood were "un-fixable" and should be replaced. They recommended PDR for the top of my trunk. The hail that hit my car was somewhere between marble and golf ball sized, leaning toward golf ball. It went on for about 1 -3 minutes followed by heavy rain. The dents aren't very noticable but the hail totalled a lot of cars in the area. Hope that was helpful :)

marble and golfball size hail does not make dents that are not repairable via paintless dent repair. the adjuster that looked at this car is obviously inexperienced in hail damage adjustments. ive been doing pdr for 11 years and from your info i can tell you that your car can be completely repaired without painting unless there is cracked paint on dents near the edge of a panel or right above the edge of a brace under the panel. if i were you, i would get a second opinion.
