Confirmations!

Here are a few confirmations I have been able to round up.

Marquette, MI

It looks like this one might be O.K.
"State Farm is set up outside of the Marquette Mall.
In the first 24 hours, they've handled 500 claims.
State Farm says the average loss per vehicle is $2,500."

Mankato, MN
This one talks mostly about crop damage, but there are alot of homes in the area.
“There was so much big hail. It put dents in the Weber grill,
took out windows and banged up the cars,”
"The hail, covering a 11⁄2 mile swath, started north of Le Sueur
along Highway 169, then moved south and
easterly toward Le Center."

Sartell, MN

The quotes on this one speak for themselves.

"Sartell Mayor Tim O’Driscoll declared a local emergency today to
help the city’s residents deal with hail damage from a
fast-moving storm that swept through the area Wednesday evening."
"The emergency declaration allows insurance adjustors
to set up tents where they can assess
vehicle damage and process claims."

For Our Friends up North

Manitoba, Canada

"In addition to the homes and cottages destroyed or
damaged this weekend, a lot of cars felt the
brunt of mother nature too."
"Manitoba Public Insurance tells CJOB there was
widespread hail in a number of communities..."
These should keep you busy for a while.
