Reports form the road
Seen and Heard:
Bentonville, AR - Slammed. Either huge dents or tons of golfball dents.
Springfield, MO - Lots of light damage but lots of techs working it. Won't last long.
Osawatomie, KS - Some light damage
Columbia, MO - Slammed. Some brokers having trouble getting techs in to work it because it's so bad.
Kansas City, MO & KS - Light damage on the north side. Harder hit on the south side.
The bottom line is that there is a lot of work. Have fun!

It's been a couple of long nights
Well, you're going to have to take my word for it because I don't have time to gather all of the links this morning but it looks like most of the Kansas City metro is hit, both Kansas and Missouri. The last Springfield Missouri reports are deffinately legit also.
I'm sorry guys but there are so many reports out there right now it's a little overwhelming trying to even remember them all. Also, it's hard to get any specific verification on the hail because all of the news stories concentrate on the tornado damage. Any eye witness or second hand reports would be appreciated. Just hit the email link to the right.
The bottom line is that this has been a MASSIVE outbreak and I'm going to bet that the majority of reports are real.
OVER 500 REPORTS in 2 days! If only 10% are real that's still a lot of hail.
HAVE FUN!

Here we go again
So far I'm not having much luck verifying any of these reports in southern Missouri. It looks like the Branson storm was mostly wind with nickel hail. In Columbia, MO all I can find is a report that says, "golfball hail was reported in the area." (woopie) None of the Springfield, MO news outlets even mention any storm reports, other than Branson, in the area. Of course, it's always hard to find news reports on the weekend. It seems most "news" outlets don't put too much effort into keeping their websites up to date. If I can find anything later I'll link to it.
Should make for a good little tune-up run anyway. I'm sure there's some good stuff out there it just may be hard to find.

OK, Looks like it's time to start blogging again!
It's hailing like crazy all over southern Missouri. Big hail reported in and around Springfield, Cabool, and Branson as well as numerous small towns. Also some decent reports in Illinois. Looks like a decent start. We'll have to see.
